JOHANNESBURG - Experts are calling for South Africa to speed up reforms and adopt international and local standards, to unlock economic growth and compete globally.

The country’s economy has been in the doldrums for years, with an alarming rate of unemployment.

Evidence suggests the adoption of international standards remains limited.
