JOHANNESBURG - The government needs to find alternative ways of addressing increasing levels of violence in schools.

Education activist Hendrick Makaneta wants to see a different approach adopted,
to deal with this longstanding problem.

The latest incident has been captured on video showing a teacher and pupil fighting in class at Glenvista High School in Johannesburg.

Makaneta proposes counselling and therapy sessions both teachers and pupils. He spoke to eNCA.
